The Illonga Nanny named “Auntie Terry”

If you happened to watch the part about this nanny who had a film about her in Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, you would have shed tears like me!

The story was about this nanny called “Auntie Terry” by the children who she took care of. She took up the role of mother for these Singaporean children because the parents were always busy with work. Also that time, she was the one who strengthen the bond of the family because of the Asian Financial Crisis.

It was a very touching story because a film entitled “Ilo-ilo” was made out of her story with the kids she took care of. Also, I can relate somewhat to the feelings of the nanny missing those children when she left her because I had a best friend who’s also become a nanny at Singapore. She showed me the pictures of the kids she took care of.

What touched me the most is when those kids tried to find her. They found her and brought her to many places where her film was shown.
