[ SAVE MIKU CAMPAIGN ] Hatsune Miku - Tell Your World PV Full Review

Watch it here :)

Who never knew of Hatsune Miku?
Some people might say she’s from an Anime
But she’s actually a Vocaloid or in other words a voice synthesizer.

But let’s not be technical about it.
From the past two years, I’ve been a fan of Hatsune Miku because of the song Black Rock Shooter.
Then I had my favorites like World is Mine, Stargazer and so on.

I thought I had enough of her but just this 2013, there are so many Miku songs that I haven’t listened to.

And I happened to be amazed by these songs.

Last Night, Good Night
Rolling Girl
Tell Your World.

But there’s one twist. The PV I happened to watch for the third song is a vid to be used for the Save Miku campaign wherein all Miku vids were deleted and reported in Youtube.

I was so amazed by the video, without knowing the lyrics; you can feel this love for Miku and the creators of the Miku songs, the fans and followers. The video started with Google Search for Miku, the Wikipedia Article and so on. It’s like getting to know Miku. And after that, there are videos of the creators of the song. Some of them maybe editing or putting up some lyrics. Some are listening to the song; some are sketching their own illustration of Miku. It’s so magical even the video editing was there. And at the chorus you’ll see the Google images for Miku, some of the Miku vids/songs and the Miku Miku Dance. : ) Then, you’ll see her 3D versions from a game and etc. Next, the cosplayers of Mik u will be shown from some parts of the Earth. I so love the transition. You’ll see these lovely Miku-cosplayers dancing. Then again another stream of videos will be shown. Then the illustrations/fan arts are shown. At the last part, you’ll see Miku dancing with some of the titles of her song running through the air. Lastly, it ended with the part that Miku is a virtual singer and everyone is the creator.

I really liked how tell your world is used in this PV.

Kimi ni tsutaetai kotoba
Kimi ni todoketai oto ga
Ikutsumono sen wa en ni natte
Subete tsunageteiku
Doko ni datte ah...

“These words I want to tell you
And this song that I want you to hear
They join together with other, ordinary things
Connecting us all together
No matter where we may be.”

It’s like Miku has been a way to express the creativity of the creators and it connects everyone to the expression of their feelings.

So, how about you? Will you try listening to her songs and appreciate the creator behind those songs?
